Microwave Fire Leaves Home Stinky

"Stinky" is the only word for the damage that was done. The first picture clearly shows the microwave melting down around the edges. The real problem was the smoke that was left in the house. The plastic was very smelly after it was burned which left the smell even in the halls and back room.

SERVPRO of North Hollywood was called to remove the smell because we are a certified fire restoration company. We placed air filtration devices throughout the house to remove the smell. We also used a combination of ozone and thermal fogging to help neutralize the burned plastic smell.
